The Chief executives of Bus Eireann and the National Transport Authority will be in Castlecomer tonight.

will address a public meeting as locals gather once again to show their opposition to the proposed cancellation of local bus routes.

Castlecomer Development Association will host the meeting about the ceasing of 11 daily services provided by Bus Eireann and JJ Kavanagh.
Local labour councillor Maurice Shortall told KCLR news they were offered an alternative by the National Transport Authority but he says it simply wont work
