Girls U13 Singles and Doubles B Cumann na mBunscoile
Girls U13 Singles and Doubles B Cumann na mBunscoile competition took place in O Loughlins on Thursday last.
This competition is for beginners in handball and saw some great handball been played.
Schools represented were Bunscoil McAuley Rice Callan, Galmoy National School, St. Johns National School and Moneenroe National School.
In the Girls U13 Singles Winner was Meg Ryan Bunscoil McAuley Rice Callan and Runner Up was Kelly Ann Ryan Galmoy National School.
Girls U13 Doubles Winners were Eva Brennan and Nicole Dowling Moneenroe National School and Runners Up were Katie Bergin and Aoife Hynes Galmoy National School.
Mount Talbot, Roscommon One Wall Competition
Mount Talbot One Wall Competition took place in Mount Talbot, Roscommon over the weekend.
Kilkenny were represented by the Dearbhail and Roisin O Keeffe, Kyle and Pat Jordan and Sean and Pat O Keeffe from Kilfane Handball Club.
All competitors displayed some great one wall skills.
In the Boys U10 Singles Kyle Jordan was narrowly defeated in the final by Mikey Kelly Galway.
In the Girls U12 Singles Roisin O Keeffe defeated Cailiosa Ni Dhuill Armagh in the final.
In the Girls U14 Singles Dearbhail O Keeffe was narrowly defeated in the first round by the eventual winner of the GU14S but went on to win the GU14S Plate Final defeating Orla Whyte Galway. Well done to all.
