A call on all local election candidates to focus on challenges facing those with disabilities

The Green party is urging all local election candiates to focus on the challenges facing people with disabilites ahead of polling day next month

It’s asking all those seeking office next month to be more aware of the issues facing the disabled such as access to public buildings a, public transport and improved roads and footpaths

The party has adopted the Disabilty Federation of Ireland manifesto and Kilkenny candidate Malcolm Noonan feels election candiates need to be aware of the problems facing the disabled
