Campaigners for a women’s refugee in Carlow need your help

Those behind a campaign for a women’s refuge in Carlow are looking for your support today.

A group will be gathering signatures outside the main post office in the town for a petition for such a facility to be set up.

It’s then going to be presented to the county council.

The local authority have previously said they are looking for a property but the campaign group feels their criteria for a building falls short of what’s really needed.
