Cannabis was the most seized drug by Gardaí in Kilkenny over the last 5 years.
That’s according to figures presented at this month’s meeting of the Joint Policing Committee on Friday.

There were 1,363 cannabis seizures around county Kilkenny between 2011 and 2016.
The next most common drug was heroin with 229 seizures, followed by cocaine with 177 and ecstasy with 60 seizures.
