Carlow and Kilkenny Fianna Fáil TDs react to last night’s Parliamentary Party meeting

The Taoiseach has been apologising to Fianna Fail over the handling of the presidential election campaign.

In a five-hour Parliamentary Party meeting last night Micheál Martin gave what’s been described as an ’emotional address’ to the party faithful.

Deputy John McGuinness told KCLR News while the gathering was constructive, there are still questions to be answered;

Fellow Carlow Kilkenny TD Peter ‘Chap’ Cleere agrees it wasn’t all smooth-sailing;

Minister of State Jennifer Murnane O’Connor also provided feedback;
