Naomh Eoin and O’Hanrahans will contest the senior football league Div 2 final after winning their respective semi-finals on Sunday evening.
Naomh Eoin had to come from thee points down at the break 0-8 to 1-2, to defeat Railyard by two points in a well contested game. Final score Naomh Eoin 2-7 Railyard 0-11
It took extra time to decide the second Div 2 semi-final, O’Hanrahans and St. Andrews finished level at the end of the hour 3-7 to 1-13. In extra time John Doyle put St. Andrews in the driving seat, however the last ten minutes belonged to O’Hanrahans and Danny Thompson wrapped up a good game with a great goal. Final score O’Hanrahans 2-18 St. Andrews 3-10
