A Carlow Councillor says the long running issue of road safety at Grange National School could be solved quite easily.

Locals says people are speeding through the area and putting parents’ and children’s lives at risk during school times.

Fergal Browne says there’s a road out the back of the school that could be used and will fix all the issues.

However, he says for some reason access to that road has been blocked in recent times.

Councillor Browne has now asked the council to take that section of road in charge as it would be far safer for everybody.
