Carlow has a new Mayor.
At last evening’s meeting of the Town Municipal District, Ken Murnane was returned to the role for his second time, with fellow Fianna Fáil representative Andrea Dalton his Deputy.
Also, last evening Tullow Municipal District saw Fine Gael’s Brian O’Donoghue take the helm as its Cathaoirleach, aided by John Murphy.
While their party colleague Michael Doran was declared new Cathaoirleach of the Muinebheag District at the Bagenalstown AGM. (More on that here).
