Carlow County Council investigating environmental complaint relating to local stream

Carlow County Council is investigating an environmental complaint relating to a stream in Quinnagh.

A member of the public alerted the local authorities to the issue earlier this month.

A spokesperson for the Council confirmed that the matter is being probed.

It’s understood the person making the complaint has raised concerns about the impact of any contamination on wildlife in the river.
