Carlow fundraising cycle to remember tragic Chada brothers

The Blackstairs cycling challenge is in its third year and set to take place on Sunday April 23rd in Ballinkillen, Co Carlow.

The day itself is to remember two young local boys Eoghan and Ruairi Chada who lost their lives in tragic circumstances in 2013.

The boys mother Kathleen has told KCLR news that the event means an awful lot to her and her family describing how Eoghan had developed a real interest in cycling shortly before his death.

All money raised from this cycle will be divided 4 ways between Ballinkillen National school, Ballinkillen Juvenile GAA club, Jack and Jill and Down Syndrome Ireland.
