A heroic Carlow man’s been invited to Áras an Uachtaráin.
We’ve been hearing on KCLR recently from the family of Stacey Foley and her teenage daughter Sophie who were saved from the River Barrow by Miley Doran who was passing when they got into difficulty at the end of May (more on that here).

The Irish Examiner’s reporting that President of Ireland Michael D Higgins has asked him to visit, when it’s appropriate to do so under Cocd regulations, hailing him for being a hero and an inspiration. (Read the article here).
