Carlow & Kilkenny being asked to dig deep for Special Olympics

Bucket shakers will be out in force across Carlow and Kilkenny today as the Special Olympics annual fundraiser gets underway.

They’re called on locals to help transform lives through sport by giving what you can.

They’ll be at various locations in Carlow Town, including Aldi , the Train Station and the Fairgreen shopping centre.
Collectors will also be out in Bagenalstown at the credit union and Fire Station.

Cops N’ Donuts will also be out selling doughnuts in Carlow Town and Bagenasltown.

In Kilkenny the volunteers will be at MacDonagh Junction shopping centre, The Market cross shopping centre and St Canice’s credit union.
