Carlow picked up a win in their opening game in Group 8 of the Kennedy Cup yesterday evening winning 4-2 against Limerick Desmond. Jack Malone, Cian Doyle, Luke Bradley and Jamie Doorley on the scoresheet for Carlow.
Kilkenny however lost 2-1 to Sligo/Leitrim in Group 5 – they will now face SDFL this morning at 10.30 while Carlow face Wicklow at 12.30.
