Carlow library is doing its bit to improve literacy levels in the county
The response to their Right to Read programme has been good

A new programme is aiming to improve literacy levels in Carlow.
The Right to Read Programme being run by Carlow Library is targeting children and families this year.
The focus is expected to move to older people and teenagers next year.
Executive Librarian at Carlow Library Trisha Nolan told KCLR News they’ve had a good response so far forming a local network of people with an interest in the area.
Schools, childcare committees and other agencies have all been getting involved.
