Former Coca-Cola boss Neville Isdell is said to be bringing a new microbrewery into Dublin’s CHQ building, which now houses the Epic Ireland emigration museum.
Carlow-man Victor Treacy – of Urban Brewing – is one of the names being linked to the new project, alongside his business partner Jim O’Hara.
The company behind the CHQ building has secured permission from Dublin City Council for the new microbrewery at the 19th century warehouse.
Mr Isdell hopes to bring in excess of 400,000 visitors to the attraction each year – while CHQ also noted that it intends to launch a new food market at the premises.
