Carlow address raided in Child Porn investigation

Digital material has been seized at a premises in Carlow as part of a Child Porn investigation.

The local address was raided by Gardai over the past few days.

No one was arrested by the digital material found will be subjected to a forensic examination.

It was just one of 23 searches carried out in 11 counties targeting suspects involved in the possession and distribution of child pornography under Operation Ketch.

Digital evidence was seized at all of the adresses and further follow-up raids are being planned.
