One local team of digital creators will be representing their school and county at the finals of a prestigious coding competition.
30 finalists were whittled down from 545 entries to compete in the final of the National Scratch Coding Competition next week.
Carlow’s Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál, who made it through two rounds of judging, is the only local school in the running for the top gong next Wednesday.
The competition allows students from junior infants to 6th class to create their own interactive stories, animations, games and music.
