It remains to be seen how long more a Carlow supermarket will keep its doors open to shoppers.
SuperValu in Carlow Shopping centre was due to close today but a court hearing has forced the postponement of those plans for owners Musgraves.
They are defending the proceedings which have been brought by their landlord at the shopping centre who claims the closure would breach the original anchor tenancy agreement.
It came before the court yesterday but a decision has not yet been reached.
That means for now at least the store will stay trading. Staff are still in a position to leave their roles as planned from today though.
