“The Carlsberg of all wake up calls”

That’s how Shauntelle Tynan has described her phone call from singing sensation Ed Sheeran this morning.

The 17-year-old is currently in Texas undergoing treatment for her rare form of Cancer, Histiocytosis X.

It was her uncle David who arranged the phone call from Ed, after bumping into him in Italy.

A post on her Facebook page says she was “shocked and totally overwhelmed”
