It seems Carpetright stores in Kilkenny and Carlow are safe.
The company has today announced plans to shut 92 stores cutting 300 jobs.
However, stores in the Republic of Ireland are not affected by the move.
There had been speculation in recent weeks that under-performing stores would face closure.
