Cartoon Saloon new feature to have its world premiere in Toronto

The latest offering from Kilkenny’s award winning animation studio is to have its world premiere in Canada.

Cartoon Saloons animated feature The Breadwinner will have a very special screening at the 42nd Toronto International Film Festival in September.

Directed by Nora Twomey the film is based on the book by Canadian author Deborah Ellis while Hollywood star Angelina Jolie had a role as executive producer.

It will be one of 25 productions to premiere in Toronto this year.
