Children’s Ombudsman to Launch New Mental Health Project in Kilkenny

Dr Niall Muldoon, the Ombudsman for Children will be in Kilkenny tonight to launch a new mental health project.

A group of young people from Kilkenny Comhairle na nÓg will launch their ‘mental health school flag project – an evaluation.

They’re aiming to have a mental health flag put into schools across the country – similar to the green flag project run by the department of the environment.

The launch takes place at 7 o’clock in the town hall – with Cathaoirleach Matt Doran, and Mayor Patrick O’Neill officiating proceedings.
