A date’s been set for the cinematic release of a Kilkenny based film.
‘Poster Boys’ from local director and writer Dave Minogue will be screened in some outlets from July 9.
Described as the ‘road trip movie of the summer’, it’s a comedy-drama telling the story of a dysfunctional uncle who in a desperate attempt to save his job takes his 10-year-old nephew on a cross country adventure in a stolen campervan.

The film features a host of familiar faces including Keith Duffy, Amy Hughes, Joe Rooney as well as entrepreneur Bobby Kerr who also has ties to Kilkenny, his family having previously been involved in the Newpark Hotel.
