Concerns raised over suitability of Kilkenny footpaths for wheelchairs

Concerns have been raised over the impact that upgrades to the footpaths in parts of Kilkenny city will have on wheelchair users.

Work is underway at the junction between IrishTown and Dean Street currently but a local woman working with the Irish Wheelchair Association says they dont seem to have allowed for a dip in the path for wheelchairs or buggys at the Traffic lights.

Helen Falsey told KCLR Live it will make life very difficult for people.
