Confusion surrounds christenings planned for this weekend according to a Kilkenny priest
Fr Willie Purcell believes the restriction doesn't start until next Monday
A local priest says there’s a grey area about whether christenings planned for this weekend can go ahead.
The government has confirmed that Religious ceremonies such as communions, confirmations and baptisms should not go ahead at this time. (More on that here).
But Fr Willie Purcell says that restriction doesn’t kick in until next Monday.
