Councils look for ideas on how Carlow & Kilkenny should celebrate 100 years since 1916 Rising

You’re being asked to get your thinking caps on as to how 2016 should be marked in Carlow and Kilkenny.

A consultation process, which runs until March 20th, is part of a national initiative to get communities involved in commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 1916 Rising.

The year will also be about remembering other major events in Irish history over the past 100 years.
