Court appearance due for motorist in Kilkenny

A man’s been arrested and had his car seized in Kilkenny.

After he overtook Gardaí who were on patrol on the Ring Road, the driver was stopped and found to have no driving licence or insurance.

He then tested positive for cocaine and cannabis.

A court appearance is set to follow.
