Deputy Peter ‘Chap’ Cleere says it’s ‘Shameful’ that local hospital hasn’t had a speech & language therapist for three years

A local TD has hit out at the lack of a speech and language therapist at St Columba’s Hospital.

The Thomastown based facility’s been without for the past three years.

The HSE has confirmed they’re tried to fill the role on a number of occasions but to no avail.

Deputy Peter ‘Chap’ Cleere raised the issue in the Dáil and outlined his plea for KCLR News;
