Disabilities Minister agrees to meeting over future of former Camphill Community in Ballytobin

The Disabilities Minister has agreed to a meeting over the future of residents at the former Camphill Community in Ballytobin.
Deputy Bobby Aylward had asked to meet formally with Minister Finian McGrath in light of developments there in recent weeks.
The HSE took over from Camphill last week after a damning report was published following a number of HIQA inspections.
However its now emerged that the Health Service does not intend to run the facility long term.
Deputy Aylward told KCLR news he’s been told they will look for another service provider.
But Speaking to KCLR News he said he hasn’t heard any organisation in particular suggested for the take-over.
