Dogs believed to have been responsible for the deaths of at least two cats have been seized.

We’ve been hearing from residents of the Newpark Close and Ballybought Street areas of Kilkenny city on The KCLR Daily, both of whom lost pets. (Listen back to those here, but please note some of what you’ll hear is harrowing).

A garda spokesperson’s confirmed to KCLR News that two dogs have been picked up under the Control of Dogs Act and have been delivered to the dog warden, pending investigation.
