Carlow native and Kilkenny resident David Donohoe took himself to New York in the 1980’s with an objective in mind; to soak up the NYC scene and to interview Lou Reed. This he did and he managed to secure the interview for Hot Press magazine at the time of the release of “Mistrial” album.
David was and is a writer and the eventual interview was more a converstion between songwriters than anything else and a rare insight into Lou Reed’s life
