Emergency services are continuing to battle a blaze in Bagenalstown this evening.
A cattle shed caught fire at a piggery in Monemore, and there were animals inside at the time.
Bagenalstown fire service have 5 pumps at the scene, along with local Gardaí.
The services of the ESB were requested due to overhead power lines.
It’s expected emergency services will remain at the scene for some time yet.
