Emergency services at the scene of two-car collision outside Kilmoganny

A stretch of road in South Kilkenny has been closed after a two-car collision today where a jeep ended up on its roof.

It happened on the Kilmoganny to Carrick-on-Suir road – just 5 kilometres south of Kilmoganny at about 11.30 this morning.

Gardaí are asking you to avoid that area completely for the time being.

It’s understood only minor injuries were sustained and Gardaí, ambulance and the fire service all attended.

The road is expected to reopen in the next short while.
