Most expensive to rent in Kilkenny City

It seems Kilkenny City West is still the most expensive place to rent in Carlow or Kilkenny at 889 euro.

The latest figures from the ESRI for the first three months of this year show that, going by electoral divisions, the cheapest area locally is Castlecomer at €571.

Meanwhile, the two divisions in Carlow are now more or less the same.

Muine Bheag’s average rent is €710 – up from €685 at the end of last year – and Carlow Town’s is down slightly to €723.

Piltown and Kilkenny City East both now have an average rent of €798 and €834 respectively.
