A community-led course teaching conversational English will be launched in Tullow this September.
Fáilte Isteach is a national initiative whereby voluteers teach English to newly-arrived migrants to the country and has been running in Carlow Town for the past 4 years.
This year’s group of 32 students will graduate this evening in Carlow College from 7.30.
Speaking to KCLR, Social Inclusion Worker with Carlow Development Partnership, Annette Fox says they’re also hoping to increase their numbers next year.
