Family of Carlow foursome seriously injured in M9 crash hail ‘incredible support’

The family of the foursome from Carlow who were seriously injured in the M9 crash ten days ago have been acknowledging the ‘incredible support’ they’ve received since.

Sisters Niamh, Alma and Ella with a seven year old boy were travelling to Dublin Airport in the early hours of Sunday 16th August when their car was struck by another driving the wrong way – all five of its teenager occupants were killed, two from Carlow town.

A GoFundMe page set up by Ella’s friend Bryan Curley, the only official fundraiser for the family, has generated more than €780,000 for them – there’s still time to add to that here.
