Feedback is being sought on hospital stays.
31,000 people who were discharged from any of the country’s 41 acute hospitals in May of this year have been sent an invite to outline their experience before the end of this month.
It’s the sixth annual National Inpatient Experience Survey since 2017 during which 61,000 responses have been logged by those who are aged over 16 years and who spent 24 hours or more.
It comprises just over 50 questions on all aspects of a hospital stay, including admission and discharge, care and treatment on the ward, respect and dignity as well as trust in staff.
787 people who attended St Luke’s General for Carlow and Kilkenny in the designated month are eligible to participate this year and 146 of these have already filled it out.
