Festive fun underway in Carlow and Kilkenny

As December hits, the festive fun is underway.

Carlow and Kilkenny both welcomed Santa officially over the weekend sparking more from Féile Lonrach/Festival of Light and Yulefest.

It’s been a bittersweet time for businesses locally, some opting to close their doors, while others are opening in time for Christmas.

But many are marking the occasion with their windows appropriately dressed up – like this one;

Such scenes will send many back down a path to the past remembering Sherwood’s Train, the Monster House and O’Reilly’s santas and more.
