A 10-day long ballot of IMPACT members at St Patrick’s Centre in Kilkenny finishes up today.
In total, over 150 staff – between SIPTU, the INMO and IMPACT – are being balloted for industrial action at the local centre for those with intellectual disabilities.
They say it’s because of a lack of communication from management about changes being implemented and a feeling that management have undermined the trust between staff and the service users.
Shay Clinton of IMPACT told KCLR News, that they’re facing the possibility of a strike.
