Song-writers and singers from all over the country will be gathering in Carlow tonight as the final of a major competition takes place.
The winner of tonight’s National Pan Celtic Song Contest will go on to represent Ireland at the International festival in Donegal next month.
A prize of €1,000 is also up for grabs.
There are three people from Carlow taking to the stage in the Seven Oaks Hotel and Bríde de Róiste of Glór Cheatharlach says they’re hoping as many people as possible will come along to support them.
Doors open from 7.30pm.
