Members of the Fine Gael party in Carlow and Kilkenny have cast their vote for who they want to see as the next leader of the party.
Voting took place at the Lord Bagenal in Leighlinbridge last night for the 12 hundred local members.
Leo Varadkar and Simon Coveney are both vying for the coveted position.
Yesterday a member of the Simon Coveney camp said that there were people switching sides at the last minute but Minister Varadkar told KCLR that he thinks that’s just talk.
Meanwhile Minister Coveney told KCLR that he feels he has come out better in the public debates as people learned more about him.
You can hear a full interview with Simon Coveney and Leo Varadkar on KCLR Live later from 10am-12pm
