Firefighters from Carlow and Wexford teamed up to battle blaze on Mount Leinster last night
The smoke could be seen across the Barrow Valley
Firefighters from two counties were left tackling a blaze on Mount Leinster last night.
What’s been described as a large gorse fire broke out near Knockroe / Kiltealy with large volumes of smoke visible across the Barrow Valley and could be seen from some parts of South Kilkenny.
Crews from Bagenalstown and Bunclody attended.
