Some flooding is expected across Carlow and Kilkenny between this afternoon and tomorrow.
A status yellow weather warning is due to come into play from 2 o’clock today with anywhere up to 50 millimetres to fall.
Both local authorities in Carlow and Kilkenny say they’re monitoring river levels.

He’s been telling KCLR that sandbags will be available locally from lunchtime today in Thomastown, Inistioge, Callan, Graignamanagh, Freshford and Kilkenny City.
