Folk/Roots: Interview – John O’Connor of John Blek And The Rats (2/10/2015)

John Blek And The Rats have released their second album and it’s a fine welcome addition to their admirable body of work. There are subtle changes to the sound and lyrically it has a darker edge. They have worked hard on this as they always do, launching a successful Fund-It campaign and it has been worth the hard work for this committed group of Cork musicians.

I caught up with John on the night of the Kilkenny album launch and asked him about the work that went in to the second album.
