Former Carlow footballer calls for Rainbow to step aside as manager

Former Carlow Senior Footballer Hugh Brennan feels that Anthony Rainbow should step aside as Carlow Football manager following Carlow’s 28 point defeat against Meath on Sunday.

The Eire Og clubman was speaking to KCLR on last nights Monday night Sport and Hugh said that he even though all of Carlow’s problems are not down to the manager, he told KCLR that the former Kildare defender is having a major influence on proceedings.

The squad will return to training this evening ahead of their qualifier meeting with Waterford later this month.
