Former worker at Camphill Ballytobin says level of care provided can’t be measured by HIQA

A former worker at Camphill Ballytobin says HIQA is not the right fit for measuring the level of care given there.
The HSE has taken over the running of the Ballytobin community this week after the Health Information and Quality Authority formally cancelled its registration on Tuesday.
However, Dieter Gerhardt, who worked there in the 80’s and now works with the HSE, says that a place like Camphill doesn’t necessarily fit with the HIQA model.
