Fourth day of searches on the River Suir for missing Mooncoin woman Lizzie O’Brien

Searches are resuming along the River Suir this morning for a Mooncoin woman missing in Waterford since last weekend.

Lizzie O’Brien was last seen in Waterford on Saturday night into the early hours of Sunday morning, between the bus station and rice bridge.

She’s described as being 5ft in height, with long black hair, and was possibly wearing glasses at the time of her disappearance.

Crews from Waterford marine search and rescue say the fourth day of searching the river gets underway this morning.
