A man who died in a crash on the Kilkenny road in Carlow yesterday morning has been named locally as Ollie Kelly.
Mr Kelly who was in his 70’s was living on the McGamhna road in Carlow but is formerly from Leighlinbridge.
He died when the silver Volkswagen Polo he was driving struck a wall at Cloughna between 8.00 and 8.30 on Sunday morning.
Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to contact them in Carlow on 059 9136620.
