Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal crash on the Carlow / Wicklow border this morning.
The incident occurred at Kilcarney Cross near Hacketstown at around 10am.

A man in his early 60’s was fatally injured when the jeep he was driving was involved in a collision with a truck.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Naas Hospital.
The driver of the truck, a male in his 20’s, was arrested in connection with the collision and was detained at Baltinglass Garda Station.
He has since been released without charge this evening and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
